The Tai Chi Study Center has offered
Tai Chi classes in the Washington, D. C. metro area, etc., since 1975.
There currently are three locations for beginner and intermediate classes
(Chevy Chase, Maryland, Arlington, Virginia and Great Falls, Virginia).
Warren teaches the beginner and intermediate classes in Great Falls and Arlington.
He has studied Tai Chi for over 44 years in the U.S.A., mainland China and Taiwan.

Beginning with our Winter 2019 term,
the Chevy Chase Beginner and Intermediate classes
will be taught by Lorie Nierenberg.
Lorie has been a student of the Tai Chi Chuan Study Center since 2011. A public diplomacy lawyer by profession, Lorie’s other interests include singing with Polyhymnia, an a cappella chamber chorus; volunteering at Children’s National; walking/hiking with friends; and traveling with family. She is known to frequent California, which is home to her son Ben.

Chris Paul, Chevy Chase Instructor
Chris currently teaches the Beginner and Intermediate classes at our Chevy Chase location. He serves as President of FRC Marketing, a merchandising company
founded in 1993 and based in McLean, Virginia. Chris is married to Jihui Kim, and together they have four children and a cocker spaniel named Loci. He spends his free time fly-fishing, hiking, boating, relaxing and doing Tai Chi in the beautiful mountains around Deep Creek Lake, in Garrett County, Western Maryland.
